Shelved Up (also written ShelvedUp) is a free collection tracker for physical films and music. Scan the barcode on a Blu-ray, DVD, 4K disc, vinyl record, CD or cassette and it identifies the exact edition, tells you whether it is already on your shelf, and flags when a better edition of a film exists. It runs on iPhone, Android and the web, and is made by Conwov Ltd, the studio behind Stocked Up and the Boxed Up card games.
Scan a disc in the shop and Shelved Up says whether it is already on your shelf, down to the specific edition rather than just the title.
Film formats are a quality ladder, so if you own the Blu-ray and a 4K release exists, you get told. Music is left alone: there, format is taste.
A shelf with the DVD and the 4K of the same film reads as one film, with the other editions that exist listed alongside.
Log what you paid for each copy and when, and watch the collection total build. Purchase history is private to you.
Rate and review what you own and see what other collectors thought.
Discogs is the database and marketplace for music releases, and CLZ Movies and CLZ Music are catalogue apps you fill in at home. Shelved Up is designed to answer one question in about two seconds, standing at the shelf: do I already own this, and in which edition?
Most trackers cover one medium. Shelved Up keeps a film shelf and a music shelf side by side, from the same scanner.
The barcode resolves to a specific release — 4K, Blu-ray, steelbook, vinyl pressing — so the dupe check and upgrade hints work on editions, which is what collectors actually buy.
There is no scan limit and no subscription required to catalogue a collection.
Scanning happens on your device. No typing and no searching.
The barcode resolves to a real film or album and to its specific edition. The first person to scan a barcode enriches it once; everyone after gets it instantly.
Already owned, a better edition exists, or what you paid last time. Add it to your shelf with one tap.
Conwov Ltd is an independent studio in Scotland. It also makes Stocked Up, a portfolio tracker for trading card collections, and three card collecting games: Boxed Up (sneakers), Tuned Up (music) and Filmed Up (films).

Yes. Shelved Up is free on iPhone, Android and the web, and scanning is unlimited.
Yes. Music has its own shelf: vinyl, CD and cassette, with album artwork, artist and release year. Upgrade hints are for films only, because for music the format is a matter of taste rather than a quality ladder.
Discogs is a database and marketplace for music releases, and CLZ Movies and CLZ Music are catalogue apps. Shelved Up is built for the moment in the shop: one scan answers whether a disc is already on your shelf, in which edition, and whether it is worth upgrading. It covers films and music in one app.
You can look around and scan without an account. An account is needed to save a shelf, and it syncs your collection across your phone and the web.
